Making Space

The author and Netflix sensation, Marie Kondo, has built her life’s work on helping people discard what no longer serves them, so that all that remains in their homes are items that “spark joy.” This “Making Space” workshop is intended to do just that within the body, mind and heart. This workshop is created primarily for novices to yoga and meditation, although more advanced students will also benefit from the alignment-based approach, focus on core poses and time to meditate in a group setting. Participants will connect to practices that aim to clear the internal congestion and cultivate a more clear, spacious container. Medical and clinical research consistently recognize that movement practices allow people to access and release distress from their lives and unleash their full potential.

If interested, join Krista and Kim on Saturday, July 27th, at The Dominican Center from 9-11:30 am, in Rooms 10 and 11. Cost of the workshop is $60 with a 10% off early bird sign up before July 15th.

The yoga portion will be around an hour and a half, followed by a guided meditation led by Kim. The workshop will conclude with a brief time for sharing. Wear comfortable clothes, bring some water, a yoga mat, two beach towels, and invite friends and family to sign up and join you for this practice!

Thanks for considering! Would love to practice with you.
